Position Summary
The LSU Health Sciences Center, Department of Interdisciplinary Oncology in New Orleans, LA, seeks an enthusiastic and dynamic clinician-scientist with experience in viral-related malignancies. Academic appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor; rank and track to be determined by qualifications. This unique position offers the candidate an opportunity to build an academic practice and establish a viral-related malignancies program in conjunction with a research appointment in the LSU - LCMC Cancer Center. Research support will be available for candidates with demonstrated success as a clinician scientist.
LSU Health Sciences Center is located in beautiful New Orleans, Louisiana. It is the home of 6 schools and 13 Centers of Excellence. The LSUHSC School of Medicine is currently expanding its relationships with its academic clinical partners. As a result, leadership roles within our clinical and research activities are available.
