**Your role at Clorox:**

Operations Manager must possess the ability to lead and manage all aspects of their assigned department, operating 24/7, in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment. Skills required include a high level of capability in successfully leading and working with teams, leading safety, improving quality and service, developing capability within team to drive process focused results leveraging formal problem solving efforts, delivering cost, launching and leading cost savings projects and loss reduction efforts, managing change, and driving continuous improvement in inventory management. The Operations Manager reports to the Assistant Plant Manager to deliver their team’s results across people, safety, quality, housekeeping, efficiency, cost, and innovation.

**In this role, you will:**

+ Lead, Coach and Develop your team to ensure you continuously deliver the plant balanced scorecard metrics while meeting individual’s career interests

+ Drive Plant metrics. Meet all plant and company metric goals for Empowering People, Safety, Quality, Housekeeping, Line efficiency, Cost, and Innovation.

+ Effectively communicate across all levels of the site and teams including but not limited to Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, Site Steering Committee, and Project Governance processes. Effectively share a compelling vision to get everyone on board with strategy for team and improvement.

+ Ownership for continuous improvement process (TRACC & Global Manufacturing Excellence) within your team and for some areas of the site. Drive technical, innovation, and maintenance improvements. Ensure Operational Readiness requirements are met on all projects for new or changing projects as well as capital.

+ Ownership for driving process driven results within the team leveraging a formal problem solving process. Lead and build capability for these efforts within your team 30-50 direct reports.

**What we look for:**

+ A minimum of five (5) years of progressive responsibility in Manufacturing

+ 5+ Leadership/Direct Management experience

+ Bachelors' degree (Engineering or Chemistry preferred) or equivalent job experience

+ Engineering, supply chain or other related disciplines. Related on the job experience is acceptable

+ Experience with Environmental and Quality requirements

+ SAP Knowledge and experience (Preferred)

+ Strong knowledge of packaging and process equipment.

+ Exposure to World Class Manufacturing, Lean, or 6 Sigma is a plus.

+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills

+ Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

+ Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of the organization

+ Ability to function as a member of a cross-functional team

+ Must be highly motivated and assertive with a strong commitment to success

+ Experience and proficiency with common desktop applications (MS Office)

+ Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends as business needs dictate

–Zone B: $79,400 - $148,400
