The Patient Service Representative is responsible for general clinic office functions that support efficient and effective patient care including patient registration, insurance verification, collection of applicable co-insurance and/or co-payments and scheduling of diagnostic and follow-up appointments and answering phones
Location: 10649 Bennet Parkway, Zionsville, IN
Schedule: Monday - Wednesday and Friday, 8:00AM - 5:30PM, Thursday, 8:00AM - 1:00PM
Primary Responsibilities:
Greet patient when entering the practice
Obtain accurate and updated patient information, such as name, address, insurance information
Perform insurance verification on the date of service
File and maintain medical records
Confirms and schedule appointments
Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously
Collects co-pays or outstanding balances on the date of service
Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
Preferred Qualifications:
6+ months of experience working in medical front office position performing duties such as scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out, insurance verification, collecting co-pays and maintaining medical records
1+ years of customer service experience
6+ months of healthcare or customer service-related experience
Beginner level of Microsoft Office experience
