We, a worldwide leader in insurance technology, are currently seeking a highly motivated Sr. Staff Software Engineer to join our AI Engineering team. As a Sr. Staff Software Engineer, you will play a key role in building enterprise, cloud-native systems that are designed to deliver value to our customers. This position requires someone who is passionate about artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data in addition to general automation and as-code based solutions. You should be an experienced engineer who is comfortable leading projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and solving complex technical challenges.
What You'll Do
Design, develop, and deploy solutions that incorporate machine learning models across our flagship product suite.
Establish reusable software components and processes to deliver AI capabilities in a platform mannered approach.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code environments.
Design and implement a roadmap for MLOps
Develop and implement solutions for anomaly detection, drift, abuse, content filtering, and accuracy measurement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into our software products.
Explore new AI techniques, stay up-to-date with research and industry trends
Mentor and guide junior engineers to help them grow their software development and AI skills.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
We’re looking for someone who:
Can work remotely or from one of our offices
Your experience should include some or all of the following:
8+ years of experience in software engineering and leading large projects
Experience building enterprise, cloud-native systems.
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data analysis techniques
Strong programming skills in Python, GO, gRPC, Terraform, or other languages in support of AI models, data pipelines, IaaC, and APIs
Expertise in working with large datasets, data pipelines, and distributed systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Bachelor's in computer science, engineering, or a related field
