AV Support Technician OpportunityApex Systems is seeking an AV Support Technician to support a fast-paced corporate environment in Jersey City, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced audiovisual professional who enjoys hands-on technical support, conference room technology, event support, and delivering exceptional customer service.The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting AV systems, supporting conference room technology, and ensuring seamless meeting experiences for end users and leadership teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide onsite support for audiovisual technology and conference room systems.Troubleshoot and resolve AV hardware, software, and connectivity issues.Set up, configure, test, and support meetings, presentations, and special events.Support conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, and other collaboration tools.Perform preventative maintenance and operational checks on AV equipment.Coordinate with end users to ensure meeting rooms and presentation spaces are functioning properly.Escalate complex technical issues when necessary and track resolutions.Maintain inventory of AV equipment, peripherals, and related assets.Deliver outstanding customer service while working with executives and business stakeholders.Required QualificationsExperience supporting audiovisual (AV) technologies in a corporate or enterprise environment.Knowledge of conference room systems, displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing platforms.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Experience supporting Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, or similar collaboration tools.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently in a professional onsite environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting executive meetings and corporate events.Familiarity with Crestron, Cisco, Poly, Extron, or similar AV solutions.Understanding of networking fundamentals related to AV equipment.CTS certification or other AV-related certifications are a plus.If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please send your updated resume to [email protected].
