SEAKR is seeking qualified Undergraduate and Graduate Interns to actively participate in real-world assignments, help solve challenging problems and contribute to the development of the next-generation of space electronics.

Job Description Workload for this internship opportunity includes the below:
Digitalization of Test Procedure Project Under guidance and direction of production test engineer, define the process of how to take our current paper log test procedures and make them digital.
Develop understanding of the how to test SEAKR hardware and generally how these test procedures are initiated and used in order to make them more efficient.
Thermal Vacuum Chamber Project Develop a probability matrix of the components used in SEAKR’s TVAC systems.
Use that probability matrix to then ensure SEAKR has sufficient spare parts and maintenance of current hardware.
Support general production test engineering duties Learn equipment, design tooling or software, organize tooling, understand testing process, perform test setups.
Qualifications Must be a rising Junior or higher currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline. Ability to learn technologies quickly and independently
Strong computer skills in a PC environment using various business software programs (spreadsheets, word-processing, LabVIEW, and databases)
Highly organized and detail oriented
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication, follow-up, problem solving and creative thinking skills
Familiarity with LabVIEW or other programming languages.
Experience with test of spacecraft hardware and electronics is highly desirable, but not required.
Additional Information Compensation: Base pay range is $25-28/hour depending on qualifications.
