Quality Manager

Reporting to the Engineering Director of LiquidStack – Liquid Cooling, this position will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of our company products. The individual oversees the component production processes, quality standards and manages regulatory certifications including UL, ETL, CE and CSA. The individual will be working heavily with cross-functional engineers to provide guidance with the concept, design, development, and implementation phases of the products. This role ensures the final products can be approved and processed by the applicable regulatory bodies. We are looking for a passionate and driven individual within the profession that wants to be a team member on one of the world’s global leaders in liquid cooling for data centers, edge, and high-performance computing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serves as the liaison between third party certification companies to ensure products are certified.
Oversees system production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Develops and implements quality control procedures for system manufacturing, including inspection protocols and testing methods.
Manages regulatory certification processes for UL, ETL, CE and CSA.
Conducts audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality management systems.
Works closely with the R&D, Customer Supports, and Supply Chain teams or related parties to build and maintain processes for compliance certifications, compliance updates, and ongoing verifications.
Participates in new product development to ensure compliance issues are addressed throughout the process and requirements are clearly communicated to the stakeholders.
Extracts, transforms, and manages the regulation documents in the system.
Develops, updates and processes safety flow diagrams and safety plans.
Provides periodic training and auditing for the internal team and suppliers on compliance-related procedures and key requirements.
Actively participates in Safety, health & environment program to ensure a high standard of workplace safety.
Acts in a manner consistent with LiquidStack’s core values and according to LiquidStack’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethical Behavior.
Complies with standards and procedures of LiquidStack’s health and safety manual and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Degree in Engineering and/or relevant disciplines.
5 to 10 years of proven experience in quality engineering, with a focus on component production and regulatory certification.
Thorough understanding of quality management systems, manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements.
Strong experience managing regulatory certifications using Intertek for ETL (UL), CE, and CSA global certifications.
Knowledge of Six Sigma, ISO9001, OHSA or similar practices is considered a strong asset.
Industry specific standards and regulation knowledge related to industrial product manufacturing is considered a strong asset.
Self-starter that can be hands-on and work independently.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Must have strong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Able to prioritize tasks and keep critical deadlines.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture.

Excellent communication (verbal & written) skills and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English; Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish and/or a German language is preferred.
Proficient knowledge in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint is required.
