The Dupuy Group is currently looking to hire a Sales Executive for their New Orleans locations.

The Sales Executive in New Orleans provides sales and customer service support to the commercial and operations teams by prospecting to generate sales from our small and mid-size partners selling our suite of logistics, warehousing and special handling services.

What you will be working on:

Makes regular sales calls to a variety of customers and potential customers initially seeking warehousing and handling opportunities compatible with our facilities and personnel

Interfaces with Business Development personnel, operations and customer service to evaluate all types of business opportunities

Calls on and builds relationships with the ports, railroads, freight forwarders and logistics providers of New Orleans, Jacksonville, Charleston and Houston

Conducts sales meetings with clients, either virtually or by visits in person

Seeks business for any unused capacity for Dupuy Group.

Attends trade events and exhibitions, industry conferences and promotional events

What we are looking for:

High School diploma or equivalent; degree in Business Administration preferred.

Three to five years of sales/marketing in warehousing, transportation, or combination of experience and education. Experience in Coffee, Tea and/or other bulk commodities preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Self-motivated and can manage multiple projects

Ability to build relationships with customers and industry leaders in logistics and transportation

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and similar administrative software; keyboard efficiency

Knowledge in safety, GMP and PPE standards
