ASSYST is seeking a qualified AWS Solutions Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of cloud solutions tailored to meet the specific requirements and security standards of our federal projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of mission-critical initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Design and deploy secure and robust applications using AWS Cloud.
Troubleshoot and configure AWS services.
Develop scripts to automate tasks and improve infrastructure efficiency.
Apply best practices for reliability engineering and self data recovery.
Integrate and champion DevSecOps practices to ensure security is embedded throughout the development and operational processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions meet customer requirements and are implemented in a timely and effective manner.
Define a solution using architectural design principles based on customer requirements.
Provide implementation guidance based on best practices to an organization throughout the lifecycle of a project.
Recommend solutions and architectures that help customers meet business objectives.
Assist in the development of technical content, such as whitepapers and technical documentation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as an AWS Solutions Architect, with a focus on architecting and deploying applications in AWS.
Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.
Experience in implementing DevSecOps practices within cloud solutions.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell ) for automation.
Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance on AWS.
Knowledge of best practices for reliability engineering and self data recovery.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional are a plus.
