**Job Summary****AECOM** is seeking a Senior Environmental Planner for immediate full-time permanent employment in our dynamic Northern California environmental planning practice. This position is a technical lead role responsible for development and execution of water-focused multi-disciplinary projects in collaboration with other senior planners and engineering leads from our Water business line.This is a regular, full-time, salaried position that will report to the Northern California Planning Manager. The Senior Planner would be responsible for client engagement, proactive business development, the preparation of competitive proposals, and leading all aspects of project implementation. This position would focus on multidisciplinary, water-related projects that include water storage and conveyance, wetland restoration and flood protection. We help clients reduce their impact on the environment, achieve compliance and reduce risks.**Minimum Requirements**+ Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Planning, Geography, or similar related field.+ 10+ years' experience including 2 years of leadership.**Preferred Qualifications**+ Master’s Degree in Environmental Science, Planning, Geography, or similar relate+ Proven project management and client management skills.+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.+ Experienced “seller-doer” with existing relationships with public agencies in Northern California.+ Ability to coordinate and manage large-scale environmental projects and applying environmental regulations.+ Technical expertise in CEQA/NEPA+ Strong writing and analytical skills and experience preparing scopes of work, budgets, proposals, and schedules.+ The ability to work independently and as part of a team.+ Ability to speak effectively in public.+ Candidate must have a proven sales record. **Additional Information:**+ Relocation is not available for this position.**What We Offer**We will give you the flexibility you need to do your best work with hybrid work options.
