Responsibilities & Skills:

Position Duties:

As a member of the software team, the Software Development Engineer will be developing FPGA (Filed Programmable Gate Array) software implementation tools which are the core technologies of FPGA design implementation. Will assist in the expansion of the mid-range FPGA market, upgrading design implementation tools and developing aedvanced design flows to provide effective tools and flows for mid-range FPGA design. Duties include:

* EDA tool development solving challenging problems in FPGA softare implementation flow

* Use C++ and data structure to optimize FPGA software implementation tools and efficient runtime and memory footprint on mid-range FPGA design

* Perform FPGA place and route tool development

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or related

3 years of experience

Prior experience to include the following:

1. C++, TCL shell, Unix/Linux shell.

2. Data structures and graph algorithms.

3. FPGA software development based on timing-driven placement algorithm for the physical implementation tool.

4. Knowledge and development on FPGA design flow.

5. Capability of debugging customer design issues with the verification and simulation tools.
