DESCRIPTION
Decypher is seeking Computed Tomography Technologists to support JBSA - Lackland, in San Antonio, TX.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine and emergent CT procedures/services as appropriate to the TO
Provide administrative assistance, this may include scheduling, reception of patients, burning CD's for patient records and accomplishing procedural instructions
Adhere to radiation safety policies and procedures in accordance with Radiology Department policies and procedures
Provide training to staff and the phase II students in the performance of CT examinations and procedures as required
Observe and report to the radiologist any symptoms which have direct bearing on the patient's condition as a result of adverse reaction to contrast media and inform the radiologist of any condition requiring his/her attention. Recognize the need for and institute the necessary emergency measures for situations where a person requires resuscitation procedures due to cardiac or respiratory arrest
QUALIFICATIONS ARRT Certification
Graduate from an academic program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
1 years of CT experience
Basic Life Support
US Citizen
