Department Description
This position is part of the UC Davis MIND Institute's Center. The Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (CEDD) at the MIND Institute is one of 67 federally designated university centers (UCEDDs) across the country. These centers are authorized by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act and funded by the Administration on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AIDD), part of the Administration on Community Living within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. We have been funded as a UCEDD for 17 years with a budget of over $6 million.

Responsibilities
Behavioral Health Psychiatry Supervisor coordinates Family Navigator program, including data collection and monitoring, recruitment materials, hiring, training and supervising a team of peer navigators and development and oversight of parent support groups. Provides intake assessment and assignment for case management for families following the diagnosis of a developmental disability at MIND, including assistance in accessing community treatment, psychosocial support, and parent education. Oversees staff providing group based educational support to families in the Family Navigator program and development of related training materials. Coordinates the ECHO Autism tele-mentoring program including overseeing the team participation and ensuring fidelity to the ECHO model. Recruitment, program topic development and development of the Super-Hub program. Provides social work consultation for the ECHO Autism tele-mentoring program. Oversees collection and entry of program monitoring data for Family Navigator and ECHO, assists in developing project surveys and reports data to project leads supporting recruitment and enrollment. Provides clinical supervision for MSW or other trainees (for example, LEND) participating in family navigator and ECHO. Works with CEDD leadership to identifying funding sources for ECHO and Family Navigator, assist with grant writing, strategic planning and program development.
Required Qualifications
Master's degree with an emphasis in psychology, social work, marriage and family counseling or a related field, clinical licensure preferred
Experience providing family navigation services
Experienced and trained to coordinate ECHO program and monitor fidelity to the model
Experience providing supervision and training to family navigators
Experience interacting with and collecting sensitive information from clinical patients and participants Experience participating in multiple large community projects and maintaining a database
Experience with clinical populations such as individuals with autism, anxiety and ADHD, including conducting intake interviews with families, and assessment or treatment with children and adolescents Experience providing consultation and training to parents or caregivers of people with developmental disabilities
Special Requirements
This position may be subject to a criminal background investigation, drug screen, Live Scan fingerprinting, medical evaluation clearance, and functional capacity assessment.
