>> Computer Network Support Specialist W/ Secret Clearance Computer Network Support Specialist W/ Secret Clearance Summary Title:Computer Network Support Specialist W/ Secret ClearanceID:10146Location:Alexandria, VADepartment:Information Technology Description You will be part of a multi-faceted collaborative team responsible for managing and supporting the comprehensive enterprise IT Support Service functions for Incident Management, User Account Management, Access Management, Problem Management, Request Fulfillment, and a variety of other IT ad hoc requests utilizing the USCG ticketing system. Depending on the combination of personal skills, abilities, and experience along with the specific team supported, some of the duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Part of a team in support of comprehensive enterprise functions for both NIPR and SIPR via 855-CGFixIT telephone or USCG ticketing system
Create and coordinate IT Cutter Groom work orders for every major cutter returning to homeport.
Coordinate recapitalization of shipboard servers based on the warranty and supportability.
Coordinate the transfer of Exchange mailboxes, physical and virtual servers and user data during full crew transfers, major shipyard activity, or other scheduled actions.
Coordinate and complete the completion of all user transfers prior to a cutters deployment, ensuring the ships sailing list matches their shipboard configuration.
What You Will Need For This Position
Active Secret DoD security clearance (Interim Secret Clearance permitted)
High School diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years experience in a related field
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Sec+)
Experience with Remedy, Windows server domain (physical and virtual), LAN/WAN and Internet systems, Office 365, Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, file server environments, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), hardware installations (workstations, peripherals and servers)
Demonstrated ability to manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems, monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns, respond to and resolve help desk requests, upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution, and install and test computer-related equipment.
Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
Strong written and oral communication skills
Microsoft Office proficiency
