Software Engineer, Senior The Opportunity:

As a software engineer, you can resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment. This role is more than just coding. As a software engineer at Booz Allen, you'll use your passion to master new tools and te chn iques and identify needed system improvements. You'll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and te chn ologies. You'll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

Experience with object-oriented programming languages, including Java, JEE, or Python

Experience in working with microservices and containerization te chn ologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift

Experience with integration and development tools, including AWS, Docker, Bitbucket, and Je nk ins

Experience with supporting systems engineering efforts in system design, solution engineering, and sof tware development

Experience with Linux OS and command line interface

Top Secret clearance

HS diploma or GED

Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Compliant Certification, including Security+ or CISSP, within 6 months of start date

Nice If You Have:

Experience with Open Systems Architecture design principles

Experience with automated testing and DevOps te chn ologies

Experience with CI / CD te chn ologies, including Ansible, Je nk ins, and GIT

Experience with Agile development or Scrum

Knowledge of user interface ( UI ) te chn ologies, including React or AngularJS

Knowledge of Apache NiFi and Kafka

Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment

Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
