They are beginning a hiring push to grow the size of their space vehicles team in Arvada, CO and are looking to add an Software Design Engineer to a team that looks to double in size:
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
5+ years of experience in designing and dveloping software in an embedded real-time environment
Experience with C, C++, Python or similar languages.
Self-Starter, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and can communicate effectively.
Job Duties
Design and implement software simulators used in automated testing
Design and implement real-time embedded software utilized in the Spacecraft Buses
Perform software unit testing
Review and provide feedback on software requirements
Direct interfacing to space vehicle hardware
Work with internal team members to solve complex software and system issues
Work with fellow software engineers in the Agile development environment
