Lead Software Engineer Apps & Backend We are looking for a lead software engineer to join our Koko engineering team who is excited about working on topics in the GenAI and IoT space, interacting with our Voice and sensor enabled hardware-technology. Duties & Responsibilities This is a technical position and requires hands-on technical work
Lead a small but dedicated team of web, mobile, backend and infrastructure developers
Backend/Frontend and infrastructure planning, strategy and management
Backend/Frontend and infrastructure system architecture
Hands on contributions to our tech stack in TypeScript, React/Native, Java, Postgres, AWS
In addition you will have the opportunity to learn and work on various parts of our product (embedded device, Gen AI, etc.)
Qualifications 5-7 years of experience in either front-end or backend development
Strong development experience in either React/React Native, native mobile app development, or backend development
Experience managing effective engineering teams from a technical perspective
Experience writing production ready code, preferably in a product based company
Excellence at communicating ideas and collaborating in oral and written form with the team
