About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Owner - Senior Lead Data Product Management Consultant to join the Transaction Utility data products team. Transaction Utility generates deep customer insights to support improved experiences and opportunities to deepen customer relationships.
This role will report into the Head of Transaction Utility, with accountability to lead Scrum teams delivering new features and use cases to help us serve our customers across all banking, lending and brokerage channels.
In this role, you will:
Oversee product delivery. Maintain strategic focus for highly technical, complex and diverse internal data products
Deliver solutions that are long-term, large scale, and require consideration of market trends, regulatory impact, and risk management.
Ensure scrum team user stories and test cases are complete, meet business objectives, and easily pass audit standards.
Articulate product vision, define scope, prioritize backlog, establish goals, and provide direction for teams to design, develop, and deliver technology and processes for updating, upgrading technologies and vendor relationships
Lead the strategy and delivery of complex and unique data product enablement initiatives requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas of the enterprise
Take a hands-on approach to product delivery, customer requirements, and business and data analysis.
Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise to ensure data product solutions are built for optimal performance
Create and maintain complex data product roadmaps throughout the data product lifecycle with detailed specifications, requirements, and flows for data capabilities
Design and maintain innovative data products, enabling data for actionable data intelligence uses from operational business uses to analytics and reporting
Engage leaders, stakeholders, subject matter experts, scrum masters, project managers and delivery team companywide
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of data product or data management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Exceptional track record of matching business opportunities to capability delivery in a fast-paced, complex environment.
Experience in managing data flows, data quality, and applied insights in consumer financial services.
Subject knowledge of relevant systems, processes, business imperatives and emerging solutions in the consumer data space.
Has previously led cross-functional teams to deliver customer transaction data integration, enrichment and insights.
Can negotiate priorities, resources, scope to optimize delivery.
Track record of cultivating strong business and technical delivery partnerships.
Knowledge of widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, Continuous delivery, and common scrum ceremonies and reporting
Knowledge and understanding of Agile operational metrics such as: Velocity, Predictability, Sprint burn-downs, and etc.
Experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as Confluence or Jira
Intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint skills
Strong data management and movement skills, including hands-on analytic experience with SQL and related data analysis tools

Pay Range
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00 Benefits
