THE ROLE

We are looking for an individual with experience in marketing technology and the data that powers it to join our mission. Your goal will be to leverage Live Nation’s wide array of data assets to improve how we market to our fans and measure the success of that marketing. We’re looking for someone who understands Marketing platforms, has a vision for how data and tooling can be used to improve our current processes and systems, articulate the vision for those improvements, work with engineers and stakeholders through requirements gathering and development.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Work with marketing operators to execute the strategy, vision and prioritization of products and features across our marketing technology stack

Understand the live entertainment landscape and Live Nation’s marketing processes, to ensure products meet the needs of all stakeholders

Understand the complex ad generation and targeting features of our various marketing platforms and devise products that can leverage them at scale

Work cross functionallyto author product requirements, user stories, specifications, workflow diagrams

Work closely with data scientists, engineers, analysts, third-party partners and internal QA teams to oversee a collaborative and iterative development process

Chase down anyone and everyone who can help get a problem solved

Plan/manage product roll-out and assist with the day-to-day operational support post roll-out

Socialize products and features, gain consensus and stakeholder buy-in, and demo product prototypes

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Work Experience:

3+ years product management experience in the field of marketing, or a technical marketing background

Familiarity with paid digital marketing channels (programmatic, paid search, paid social) and/or engagement channels (email, push notification)

Proficient in requirements definition, authoring epics, user stories and acceptance criteria within the Agile/Scrum methodology a plus

Prior experience with e-commerce marketing a plus

Understanding of or experience in the ticketing and/or live event industry a plus

Management and Communication:

Excellent communication skills, including executive level communication and presentation

Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, and handle shifting priorities

Team-oriented, collaborative worker while still being able to work independently

Open-minded, continuous desire to improve existing processes

Ability to maintain a broad and big-picture view, and weigh varied/multiple factors when making product decisions

Technical Skills:

Experience with Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Google Campaign Manager, The Trade Desk, Salesforce, and/or Google Analytics a plus

Experience working directly with large dataset (e.g. SQL, AWS) a plus

Experience with APIs, Java, and/or Javascript a plus

Education:

Bachelor’s degree, MBA or CS Degree is a plus but not required.

The expected compensation for this position in California is:

$115,000.00 USD - $144,000.00 USD **Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the California Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements Law.
