Job Summary:
IPX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of cloud-based projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, project management expertise, and a thorough understanding of cloud technologies. This role requires active Secret Clearance and will be based in Washington, DC.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Management : Lead and manage cloud program initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Project Planning : Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement : Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, technical teams, and third-party vendors, to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
Performance Monitoring : Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
Budget Management : Oversee budget management, including forecasting, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-efficiency.
Compliance : Ensure all projects comply with relevant federal regulations, security standards, and Department of State policies.
Reporting : Prepare and deliver regular status reports, project updates, and executive summaries to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Team Leadership : Manage and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications: Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Experience : Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in program/project management, with at least 5 years in managing cloud-based projects.
Proven experience in a leadership role within a large organization or governmental body.
Certifications : Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Cloud certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
Skills : Strong understanding of cloud technologies and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
Preferred Qualifications: Location : Willingness to work on-site in Washington, DC.
Security Clearance : Active Secret Clearance required.
Additional Certifications : ITIL, Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications.
