What You'll Do
As a Postgres Database Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing organization's data infrastructure.
You will be managing the administration and support for all development/testing/production databases.
You will provide performance tuning, high availability implementation, and support change management / release management.
You will create procedures to ensure data accuracy and accessibility. Also Analyzing, planning, and defining data architecture framework, including security, reference data, metadata, and master data.
You will translate business requirements into databases, data warehouses, and data streams.
Must Haves
10+ years Postgres DBA experience in an enterprise environment.
Hands on experience in writing efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Hands on experience in optimizing query performance and troubleshoot data-related issues.
Hands on work on data modeling and schema design within Postgres.
Knowledge of PostgreSQL, RDS, Aurora, Parameter groups, Azure, AWS, Microsoft SQL Server, CloudWatch, and Oracle
