We are seeking a Cognitive Scientist to join our dynamic team! This position contributes to the assessment, design, build, and deployment of Data Cloud solutions utilizing industry best practices. This role focuses on the application of cognitive science to enable artificial intelligence with enterprise business applications. Supports pilots and approaches for learning representations from textual data to enhance information discovery and improve human decision making. Contributes to team research and development efforts in the areas of training design, competency modeling, and cognitive metrics. You will be part of a highly innovative fast-paced team, incorporating and inventing emerging software technologies to deliver best practice Data Cloud solutions. This Engineer will play a hands-on part in driving the architecture, design, and implementation of Snowflake for our clients.
Responsibilities
Participate as a data scientist in the project team and provide agile software delivery, best-practice expertise to deliver results for an organization.
Collect data and identify data sources
Lead discussions and assess the feasibility of AI/ML solutions for data processes and outcomes
Analyze huge amounts of data, both structured and unstructured
Create solutions and strategies to business problems
Work with team members and leaders to develop data strategy
To discover trends and patterns, combine various algorithms and modules
Present data using various data visualization techniques and tools
Investigate additional technologies and tools for developing innovative data strategies
Create comprehensive analytical solutions, from data gathering to display; assist in the construction of data engineering pipelines
To boost general effectiveness and performance, stay current with the newest tools, trends, and technologies
Collaborating together with the product team and partners to provide data-driven solutions created with original concepts
Create analytics solutions for businesses by combining various tools, applied statistics, and machine learning
Architect, implement, and monitor data pipelines, as well as conduct knowledge sharing sessions with peers to ensure effective data use
Qualifications
Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, Natural Language Processing, knowledge discovery and data mining, unstructured data analytics.
Experience with one or more programming languages/frameworks including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, PyTorch, Jupyter Notebook, NumPy, Pandas, R, and/or Python.
Experience with one or more of the following: Natural Language Processing, text understanding, classification, pattern recognition, recommendation systems, targeting systems, ranking systems or similar.
Understanding of enterprise data management concepts (Data Governance, Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Sharing, Data Applications)
Significant experience in systems analysis and solution development leveraging A.I./M.L
Significant experience translating and mapping business requirements to technical requirements
Experience in Microsoft Azure, Python, and SQL
Experience developing solutions in at least 4 of the following technology areas: Government Cloud IaaS and PaaS (FEDRAMP Authorized solutions)
Microservices and Containers
DevSecOps
Data Analytics
ML/AI (Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence)
Educational & Work Qualifications:
Advanced Degree required: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering
Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC).
