This position is located at US Mint,Headquarters - Manufacturing Dept/DESIGN AND ENGRAVING DIVISION/ENGRAVING BRANCH. As a/an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be serving as an Inventory Management Specialist responsible for advice, guidance, and technical support in connection with the Engraving Branch.

The following are the duties of this position at the GS-11. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
* Maintain records and controls over die and precious metal inventory for the entire division by tracking in stock, due in, or planned for distribution within the ORACLE data system.
* Directly responsible for planning, coordinating, determining resources and performance of duties related to quarterly (QPI) and annual (API) inventories of all items.
* Produce reports via Die Information System for inventory management purposes.
* Analyze, extract, summarize, and identify significant trends and issues. Forecast and estimate program requirements and prepare programmatic reports, justifications, charts, graphs, statistical and narrative data, etc., for top-level presentations and briefings.

** Qualifications**
You must meet the following requirements within 14 days of the closing date of this announcement. **SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-11 level:**
For the GS-11, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Experience in the use of Inventory Management modules of an Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) system, such as Oracle; AND
- Processing Inventory transactions; AND
- Experience conducting and reconciling Physical Counts;
**OR EDUCATION:**
You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.M., if related.
**OR COMBINATION OF SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:**
You may qualify with a combination specialized experience and education. Options for qualifying based on a combination will be identified in the online questions. Only graduate level education in excess of the first 36 semester hours (54 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education.
**SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-9 level:**
For the GS-09, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Processing Inventory transactions; AND
- Experience conducting and reconciling Physical Counts;
**OR EDUCATION:**
You may qualify with a masters or equivalent graduate degree.
OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a masters degree.
OR LL.B. or J.D., if related.
**OR COMBINATION OF SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:**
You may qualify with a combination specialized experience and education. Options for qualifying based on a combination will be identified in the online questions. Only graduate level education in excess of the first 18 semester hours may be combined to be considered for qualifying education.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following **time-in-grade requirement**, if applicable:
For the GS-11 you must have been at the GS-9level for 52 weeks.
For the GS-9 you must have been at the GS-7level for 52 weeks.
