The Roehrl Lab at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and Harvard Medical School in Boston has an immediate postdoc opening (PhD, MD/PhD, or MD) for motivated individuals with strong backgrounds in cell/cancer biology, immunology, stem cell biology, biochemistry, disease models (cell culture, organoids, xenografts, or animal models), proteomics (mass spectrometry)/genomics, and/or informatics.
The Roehrl Lab studies various human cancers (colon, lung, pancreas, and sarcomas) using integrated multi-omic approaches and functional ex vivo models. We are also studying how the immune system recognizes autoantigens in cancer and the interplay between stem cells and autoimmunity and cancer .

Qualifications
PhD or MD/PhD in a relevant field (such as Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Proteomics/Genomics, or related field), or MD with extensive lab experience equivalent to a PhD
Recent graduates with no prior postdoc experience preferred
Strong publication record from prior graduate research project
Laboratory Skills, Research, and Data Analysis skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Experience in cancer research or autoimmunity research
