What You'll Do

IMA Select is adding a Personal Lines Producer to our growing team. IMA Select focuses on insurance solutions for small businesses and individuals. Through personal relationships with our clients and carriers, we offer coverages and pricing not commonly found with other brokers and agents.

Essential job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Supports and demonstrates IMA's core values

Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates

Prospect s and qualif ies new accounts which meet the IMA Select criteria

Identif ies target audience and build s a pipeline of prospects and centers of influence meet ing that criteria

Gather s and organize s appropriate information required to prepare marketing submission s to insurance carriers

Enter s key information into and update s the Agency CRM throughout the sales process

Using a consultative sales approach, lead s and conduct s proposals for successful individuals and families

Develop s centers of influence and lead s source partners through networking and marketing to realtors, mortgage brokers, wealth managers, financial planners, community involvement, etc.

Responsib ility for the overall growth of individual book of business through new and existing client relationships

Develop s an annual business plan to meet the established premium and revenue goals as established with market leader

Develop s into a trusted advisor to educate and advise clients and prospects

Identif ies and coordinate s cross selling opportunities within IMA

Maintains professional conduct and manner that represents IMA and IMA Select in the community

You Should Have

Required Experience and Skills include but are not limited to:

2 - 5 years of insurance or sales related experience preferred

Bachelor's d egree preferred

Excellent communication skills for sales presentation a nd client relationship building

Self-driven and with a strong motivation to succeed

Willingness and aptitude to learn the business and become knowledgeable in personal insurance

Confident self-starter who works well independently

Demonstrate s persistence and resilience through challenges and objections to achieve goals

Ability to identify and overcome sales obstacles on a prospect specific basis

Negotiati on and persuasion ski lls are necessary for this position

Willing to travel as needed

Current Property and Casualty and/or Employee Benefits license is a plus

Salary Range $50,000 — $85,000 USD Compensation & Benefits
