Senior Growth Marketing Manager (PLG)

About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Growth Marketing Manager to help us attract more developers, product leaders, and founders to the AssemblyAI website, sign up for our API, and build on our platform. You’ll do this by supporting the growth team with both building growth campaigns and expanding/optimizing our self-service growth engine.
A successful candidate will partner with cross-functional colleagues to unlock the motions that drive activation, engagement, revenue, and usage. They will also have experience using data to inform strategy and experimentation, deep knowledge of product-led growth practices, and is someone who thrives in diverse, cross-functional teams at a hyper-growth company.
What You’ll Do:
Own the end-to-end vision for our signup flow by running web/app experiments, lifecycle programs, and more.
Monitor and report on the events that drive sign ups, activation, upgrades, and drive high usage.
Develop personalized journeys by owning the lifecycle email triggers and campaigns inCustomer.ioand inside of the user dashboard.
Build experiments to validate hypotheses and proactively communicate results to the organization.
Partner with GTM teams (Sales, Customer Success, Analytics, Operations, and Leadership) to meet and exceed business-critical growth goals.
Partner with PMM and Product to launch and own expansion strategy: building growth loops, driving new users and use-cases, cross-sell and up-sell tactics
Be the owner and expert of your KPIs -- monitor, track, and present metrics weekly to prove ROI.
What You’ll Need:
BA/BS plus 4+ years of experience in marketing/product growth with hands-on experience working at a PLG company
Be a team player be genuinely invested in helping make the entire PLG function successful
Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize strategic insights in an actionable and compelling manner
Strong understanding of the marketing tech stack across web optimization, lifecycle, and reporting tools
Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work in a self-guided manner
Extreme attention to detail and passion for experimentation
Experience working with both technical and GTM teams
Experience with using event data to run experiments (from CDP such as Rudderstack, Segment, etc)
Experience reporting out of and leveraging BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Sigma, etc

Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates.
Salary range: $160K -- $220K
