Application Support EngineerYou can get further details about the nature of this opening, and what is expected from applicants, by reading the below.ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and resolve production application issues.Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.Partner with development, infrastructure, and support teams to resolve complex issues.Monitor application and SQL Server database performance and identify bottlenecks.Create and maintain troubleshooting documentation, knowledge articles, and incident reports.Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripts and tools.Improve system scalability, availability, performance, security, and capacity.Support continuous improvement of operational processes and customer experience.Identify gaps and dependencies across the technical ecosystem.Utilize DevOps and CI/CD tools to improve reliability and operational efficiency.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.8-10 years of related experience.Experience supporting Java-based applications and SQL Server databases.Experience with Java, Angular, Kafka, and SQL.Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and software development practices.Technical SkillsSQL Server performance tuning, execution plan analysis, deadlock identification, and stored procedure debugging.Ability to read, understand, and troubleshoot Java code.Familiarity with job scheduling and configuration management.Experience with Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and Tomcat.Experience with AWS, Amazon S3, Azure, Docker, Ansible, Python, Splunk, and AppDynamics.Ability to use monitoring tools to identify and troubleshoot application issues.Additional RequirementsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Experience in securities or financial services is a plus. xhyhwjd Interest in AI technologies, AI Agents, and Microsoft Copilot.
