As a Software Engineer Principal within PNC’s Retail MIS organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, or Dallas, TX. or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.

Below are the preferred skills:

• IBM Mainframe and TSO knowledge ( 5+ years of IBM Mainframe, JCL, COBOL, Assembler).

• Check system and deposit/payment transaction knowledge is needed. Knowledge of FTM (IBM Financial Transaction Manager) is desirable.

-Creation of posting transactions to applications. (Eg COR, FIS, IMA etc..)

• Problem resolution in the event of program/job issues in a timely manner for production support.

• Requests from applications for information on how deposits were processed.
