We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our rapidly growing company. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in financial reporting, accounting, tax compliance, tax advisory, and tax law knowledge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of tax planning and preparation, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws, and providing strategic tax advice to support our business goals. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and a deep understanding of the tax implications of various business decisions.

Lead and manage all tax-related activities including tax planning, compliance, and preparation.Oversee the preparation and review of all federal, state, and local tax returns and ensure timely submission.Provide strategic tax advice to senior management to support business decision making.Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws.Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants to manage audits and tax disputes.Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company.Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and record keeping.Provide training and guidance to junior staff on tax-related matters.
Job Details
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or CPA is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, preferably in the engineering industry.In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.Strong experience in financial reporting, accounting, and tax planning.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret tax laws and regulations.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax issues in clear, understandable terms.Proficient in tax preparation software and other relevant IT systems.Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
