We are currently seeking a Data Engineer - Python to join our team in Irving, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Job Responsibilities:
Develop data pipelines using python/pyspark
Work with Relational/Non-relational databases using data model concepts
Automate code quality, code performance, testing
Write detailed documentation about coding procedures and processes for other programmers to follow
Provide thought leadership in mobile engineering and bring your passion for technology to motivate and inspire on a day-to-day basis
Produce and ensure delivery of quality, readable, and well-tested code
Problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and solve issues in the application development
Be a part of larger scrum team and scrum ceremonies
Basic Qualifications:
5 years building data pipelines using Python, Pyspark
Unix/Linux.
Python and related packages (like NumPy, pandas etc.) to load and scrap the data
At least one of the tools the Hadoop eco-system (HDFS, AWS Glue, MapReduce, Yarn, Hive, Pig, Impala, Spark, Kafka).
Nice to Have:
Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Certification/ course on Data Science from any reputed institute/ portal
Education:
Degree: Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent work experience
