Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Instructional Coach to join our K-8 Charter School team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in education, with a passion for coaching and developing teachers. This role is integral to our mission of enhancing the quality of teaching and positively impacting student outcomes.
Responsibilities:
+ Provide individualized instructional coaching to a caseload of approximately 12 teachers.
+ Collaborate with a team of 3 instructional coaches to support and develop teaching practices across the school.
+ Utilize the Get Better Faster waterfall and RELAY GSE practices and philosophy in coaching sessions.
+ Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
+ Develop and implement professional development sessions and workshops.
+ Support teachers in setting and achieving professional goals.
+ Foster a positive and collaborative coaching culture within the school.
+ Track and analyze data to measure the impact of coaching on teacher performance and student achievement.
+ Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Education.
+ Valid teaching license.
+ Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience with demonstrable results.
+ Prior instructional coaching experience preferred.
+ Knowledge of Get Better Faster waterfall and RELAY GSE practices and philosophy.
+ RELAY Certification preferred.
+ Experience working with diverse urban populations preferred.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of educators.
+ Commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
