Position Description:
Seeking an experienced and highly motivated Tax Supervisor with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and ever-changing environment. This position requires an understanding of ASC 740 and knowledge of international law.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Assist in review and analysis of domestic and foreign income tax provision workpapers.
+ Prepare supporting workpaper for external advisor for income tax returns as required by the IRS (1120, 5471, 5472, 8858, 1120F, etc.).
+ Prepare and review estimated federal and state income tax payments.
+ Perform tax research and provide interpretation and application of tax rules.
+ Review various federal and state income tax returns.
+ Assist in due diligence on M&A projects.
+ Analyze financial data for accuracy and completeness.
+ Assist in federal and state audits.
+ Maintain our tax preparation system.
+ Keep abreast of current developments in the tax area.
+ Provide an information source in the tax area within the company.
+ Other tax projects as they arise.
+ Train and mentor tax analyst and tax coordinator.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Basic knowledge and experience concerning U.S. corporate income tax laws.
+ Able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to work indecently, proactive personality with desire to assume additional responsibilities.
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, financial modeling, accounting, and communication skills (both oral and written).
+ Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting under ASC 740.
+ Proficiency in Excel, pivot experience a plus

Education and/or Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
+ CPA and/or Master in taxation or equivalent is desired.
+ Minimum of four years working experience in tax (public accounting experience highly desirable)

Physical Job Requirements:
+ Sitting: Must be able to sit for a minimum of 2 hours
+ Walking: Throughout the facility on a continuous basis
+ Lifting/Carrying: Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
+ Climbing: Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
+ Vision: Corrected 20/20 vision required
+ Talking/Hearing: Must be able to communicate on the telephone.
Environment: Work environment is typically an office environment located on-site during normal or extended business hours during busy season.
