Job Description
**Position Summary:**
Provide leadership and direction to the team of Customer Account Managers serving the Columbus Region. The Manager will assist Customer Services management in the formulation of practices and procedures relative to customer interface. The Manager will act as a single point of contact for other Energy Delivery business units operating in the same geographic region. The Manager must assure that the Region Customer Services team achieves highest levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service, consistent with the goals and objectives of the Energy Delivery organization and the Customer Services Department. This position can have supervisors under their span of control.
**Essential Job Functions:**
Direct Customer Account Managers and Supervisors, as they may be assigned, to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional customer service.
Build effective relationships with managed customers.
Supervise their team in the provision of new/expanded service consistent with Energy Delivery policies and procedures.
Manage the contract negotiation and administration processes to ensure proper rate application for the customers and adequate return for the company.
Manage individual and team performance to achieve department and company goals including, but not limited to: budgets, operational performance, customer satisfaction, etc.
Direct the team to grow the business and achieve all revenue goals and other assigned customer program goals, including DSM, EV, Electrification, and ABD, as well as support new programs and revenue opportunities.
Direct the team in the successful resolution of customer inquiries such as power quality, quality of service, and billing.
Direct the team in the proactive response to customers with information regarding power interruptions.
Manage the relationship with Distribution and Transmission Wires Leadership within the region.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Communications, or other Human Relations/Marketing-related field and a minimum of Ten (10) years of electric company experience, of which Six (6) years are Customer Service & Management experience, with solid leadership traits and problem solving skills, requiring minimal or no supervision; Must demonstrate solid and proven leadership and managerial traits.
**OR**
Associates Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Communications, or other Human Relations/Marketing-related field and Twelve (12) years of experience, with ten (10) years of electric company experience with Six (6) years of significant Customer Service & Management experience including solid leadership traits and problem-solving skills requiring minimal or no supervision; Must demonstrate solid and proven leadership and managerial traits.
