Join us as we transform our company and industry in the fast-paced world of Advertising! The Effectv Technology team is in a period of growth and innovation. This role, the Executive Director of Effectv Technology Portfolio Management will play a central role in enabling greater operational excellence, measurement, and continued process improvement. This role sits within the Technology Experience and Services (TES) leadership team and supports the entire technology organization in continuous improvement efforts. This role will work closely with our SVP of Effectv Technology and other leaders as we build for the future. We are looking for a team operations enabler with deep expertise in program management, metrics, value realization, process excellence, software development lifecycle management, and storytelling. This individual will help frame the measurement and narrative of the technology organization, and work closely with teams to evolve our ways of work.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Serve as the Chief-of-staff to the Senior Vice President of Technology

Establish Technology Big Bets and overall dashboard to report and measure key initiatives

Continuously manage the technology key initiatives dashboard and related spend with our finance partners

Work to establish value realization practices to ensure optimization of our resources

Create a framework in which to report work, making work visible, and sharpening focus

Develop baseline operational metrics (in partnerships with the teams) and report out on health and status

Develop and utilize KPIs to identify opportunities across the department and systems including potential ROI and cost savings of recommendations

Join program governance and management on the technology optimization and product evolution work, Build and Operate

Drive continuous improvement practices and processes within the Technology organization

Provide strategic recommendation and executive oversight for tools that highlight operational effectiveness

Lead a diverse team and have a passion for team development, investing time in people, engagement activities, hiring and growing people

Advise on optimization work reviewing delivery methodologies, tools, and communications in partnership with the Sr. Director, Program Management

Oversees budgets and spend in close partnership with Finance

Support our people programs in close partnership with HR

Supports any requests to the Technology SLT for information by creating a framework to get feedback from our teams and collate inputs into a strong story

Partner with the Effectv Enterprise Project Management Office for broader company initiatives

Requirements

Minimum of 12-15 years relevant program management, strategy, technical and/or consulting work experience

Experience in program management, metrics, value realization, process excellence, the software development lifecycle, and storytelling

Can demonstrate these skills as requested during the interview process with referenceable programs and initiatives where this individual had a leading role

Deep experience in operational and process excellence work

Ability to build a framework and lead a team through process work

Previous program management and technical delivery experience

Advanced story telling capability - ability to create a compelling deck with minimal inputs

Worked on the full life cycle of projects, deep understanding of each component and how to bring stakeholders and teammates along the journey of program delivery

Consultative skills and previous consulting experience is a plus

Establish and monitor Technology partnership alignment with Product Management

Experienced problem solver with deep process reengineering and technology development lifecycle expertise

Experience working with dynamic, multi-team and stakeholder environments to drive consensus and support for initiatives

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
