Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), a growing Park Ridge global association, seeks a team-oriented Program Manager to provide oversight to the management and administration of all education programs and products. This position works closely with volunteers and staff to support MDRT’s mission and strategic objectives.
The Program Manager serves as overall program team lead for the Global Conference and staff liaison to the Global Conference Divisional Vice President, serves as Staff Liaison to the Top of the Table Non-Member Speaker Program Development Committee, manages all aspects of assigned MDRT meetings’ program development and implementation, serves as project manager on special projects as assigned (including sponsorship program deliverables and internal process improvement initiatives), supervises the performance management of three staff direct reports and maintains knowledge of current and future trends in association programming and management.
The ideal candidate will have:
•Bachelor’s degree (required)
•5-7 years of experience in a nonprofit association, specifically in volunteer management.
•Preferred experience in adult learning, program development, or continuing professional education.
•Required experience managing multiple staff members and collaborating with all levels of staff, volunteers, and vendors.
•Professionalism, maturity, and confidence to work with individuals around the globe.
•Demonstrated project management skills including the ability to organize and prioritize complex workloads, effectively manage multiple projects at various stages of their implementation with attention to detail and deadlines, and confidence to resolve project issues through collaboration with colleagues, vendors, and others, including developing alternative approaches to meet deadlines and objectives.
•Leadership style that balances empathy and accountability to create a positive and productive work environment; demonstrate active listening, collaboration, and provide timely, actionable feedback.
•Excellent customer service and relationship building skills with staff and committee members.
•Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to interact with technical and business audiences at all levels at internal and stakeholder organizations; respond positively and creatively to new challenges and responsibilities as they arise.
•Ability to develop and produce quality written work that is appropriate, thorough, and accurate, effective written and verbal communication and be an agile facilitator.
•Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), as well as online collaborative tools such (Google docs, SharePoint); embrace, learn and use technology.
•Ability to travel up to 10% required (domestic, international, and local committee meetings).
