Job Summary:
The Branch Manager is a P&L leader overseeing the staff and day-to-day operations at our Anaheim branch location and Victorville production facility , ensuring delivery of quality customer service and achievement of sales, operational, and profitability goals.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversees and participates in the recruitment, hiring, and training of all branch personnel including service and installation technicians, fabrication team members, and support staff.
Conducts performance evaluation process that increases individual and team performance, builds bench strength, and retains top talent.
Communicates effectively in individual and group settings, providing regular coaching and feedback to build a high-performance team.
Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Works with the Regional Manager to develop the annual branch budget and leads overall branch execution to achieve the sales and profitability targets.
Supports driving the commercial process for profitable growth of new equipment and crane services including inspections, maintenance, installation, repairs, modifications, and upgrades to meet customer needs.
Oversees the new equipment fabrication and field servicing of equipment, ensuring production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.
Reviews job execution process to ensure financial goals are met and customer satisfaction achieved.
Leads by example to ensure a healthy and safe working culture is achieved, as well as compliance with federal and state regulations.
Creates a high-performance culture through servant leadership and relentlessly driving continuous improvement throughout the entire organization.
Delivers reports to executive team members as requested.
Supervises equipment purchase and maintenance.
Conducts regular staff meetings to ensure that goals and objectives are clearly communicated with branch staff; provides guidance and leadership to enable staff to meet these goals and objectives.
Identifies training needs and opportunities; develops and implements a plan for meeting those needs.
Maintains and develops positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, demonstrating excellent customer service and setting an example for other staff.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Adept at analyzing and explaining a manufacturing and service P&L.
Excellent leadership and management skills.
Excellent sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks, delegating when appropriate.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Experience:
5 years P&L leadership in industrial manufacturing / fabrication and field service.
Operational, and field service leadership experience.
Experience with $1M+ custom engineered projects.
Sales and sales leadership is beneficial.
Crane experience is beneficial, but not required.
