The Sustainable Investment Program is looking for an Investment Manager (IM) to oversee ESG Integration. Under the direction of the Investment Director (ID), will play a lead role in the integration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into CalPERS investment decision-making process, contributing to establishing a best-in-class ESG program.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Responsible for maintaining and updating CalPERS ESG policies and procedures, including the CalPERS Governance & Sustainability Principles, and overseeing ESG data collection and management.
Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive ESG strategies and collaborate with senior management to align our investment practices with responsible and sustainable principles.
Develop and maintain relationships with peer funds, investor coalitions (including Climate Action 100+), international bodies such as the United Nations Net Zero Asset Owner Alliance, data and research providers, and managers to help CalPERS deliver on its sustainable investment strategic goals.
Telework Information : This position is eligible for hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.
