Lead Machine Learning Engineer
We're looking for a strong ML engineer with 3+ years of professional experience in crafting machine learning systems at scale, ideally within the e-commerce and marketplace arena. A comprehensive understanding of vector space models, word embeddings, transformers, and language models like GPT-3, BERT, and T-5, along with the ability to effectively apply these in various contexts, is crucial. Must have a deep product intuition and use ML models as a means to delight customers and make business impact.
We're docker-friendly, employ a host of open source software and take our code quality very seriously. We move quickly, get to work on interesting and challenging problems, deploy our ML pipelines and backend services daily.

Our fast-paced environment requires someone who is humble, willing to learn from others and has an open mind when discussing and proposing new ideas.
Your Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience in building machine learning systems at scale.
Experience in building recommender systems, natural language processing, and deep learning, applying the ML models to e-commerce and marketplaces.
Expertise in implementing NLP tasks such as Named Entity Recognition (NER), Sentiment Analysis, Text Classification, etc.
A solid understanding of vector space models, word embeddings, and transformers, and the ability to apply them effectively in different contexts.
Familiar with Language models, transformers like GPT-3, BERT, T-5 etc.
Expertise in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
Experience in developing ML applications on AWS, GCP or Azure.
Strong coding skills in Python and SQL. Passionate about digging deep into data and coming up with insights.
Experience with MLOps tools and frameworks such as Jupyter Notebook, Kubernetes, AutoML, Kubeflow, Spark, etc.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies, frameworks, and algorithms.
Bonus points:
Experience setting up and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
Experience building backend applications using Java and other similar technologies.
Experience with developing chatbots.
