Summary You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant (Military) in the Enlisted Placement Mangement Branch of NAVY PERSONNEL COMMAND. Responsibilities You will explain personnel processes, requirements, or procedures to employees. You will review reports, documents, or records to verify completeness and accuracy. You will identify gaps or inconsistencies in human resources records. You will use a database or spreadsheet software to revise personnel data. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge of military policies, procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain military personnel service records; 2) Researching information in military records and databases in order to respond to inquiries regarding military human resources issues; 3) Utilizing automated systems to create and maintain military records.
