We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Order Puller with experience in picking, packing, and handling metal fixtures for our client in Dallas, Texas . This position involves working in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Responsibilities:
Retrieve metal fixtures from assembly lines and prepare them for shipment.
Utilize pick tickets and packing lists to accurately locate and pull products.
Safely load and unload metal products onto pallets or trucks.
Use tape measures and scanners to verify dimensions, quantities, and barcode scanning.
Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to meet production and shipping deadlines.
Shift schedules may vary due to cross-training across all departments, contingent upon the position and department.
Working Conditions: Non-climate controlled warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
Physical demands include pushing, pulling, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and reaching
Requirements: Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
Experience in picking and packing
Experience in forklift, a plus
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management systems is a plus.
Attendance and dependability are extremely important
Able to follow verbal & written instructions; skilled in operating scanning equipment.
Capable of picking and packing orders, with a willingness to undergo training across all warehouse departments.
Must be able to use Material handling Equipment during the course of the training
Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
