We are hiring a Fitness Coordinator who will bring energy and enthusiasm to our team! The Fitness Coordinator is responsible for the development and management of fitness programs and measurement tools for seniors in the community.
We're looking for someone with strong experience leading Group exercise classes for the Senior population. Personal training experience also strongly desired. Experience with the Pilates Reformer machine is a big plus!
**Compensation:** Commensurate with experience, starting at $23 / hr
**How you will make an impact:**
+ Assisting Manager in monitoring the daily operations of the Fitness Center.
+ Scheduling appointments, processing membership agreements.
+ Assisting with the promotion, coordination, and implementation of exercise programs.
+ Developing and maintaining an effective membership retention program.
+ Developing a network within the community and making appropriate referrals to other services
+ Assisting in the training of new department employees.
+ Building relationships with residents and staff, encouraging physical activity.

**What you will need:**
+ Associate’s degree in Health Education field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
+ 2 years of related work experience.
+ Current CPR/First Aid certification.
+ Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.
+ Knowledge of prescription, medications, and risk factors is essential.
