Salesforce Inc. seeks Front End Software Engineer in Boston, MA:
Job Duties: Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming. Architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products. Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics. Perform automated testing including unit and functional testing using Java, JUnit, JSUnit, Selenium, Mocha and QUnit. Operate effectively in the hybrid engineering model where engineers are expected to be able to design and execute the necessary work to ensure quality in their own code as well as other engineers'. Collaborate with a team of engineers, product managers, user experience experts and performance engineers. Present designs to internal/external groups and review designs of others. Support others in development technologies, tools, and processes. Master our development process, culture and code base, then improve it . Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or two (2) years of experience in the job offered.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) JavaScript; (2) HTML; (3) CSS/SCSS; (4) JSON; (5) React; (6) JQuery; (7) Git; (8) Python; (9) MySQL; and (10) C/C++. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
