Ourteam of 400+ dedicated employees share the desire to do meaningful workand make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities inMassachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, and Oklahoma.Position: Director (Human Services)- Full Time Location: Springfield, MAHours: 40 hours per week Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm;occasional weekends, holidays, and evenings Summary: The Director isresponsible for the daily operations of a Mass Health Funded DayHabilitation program for individuals with IntellectualDisabilities/Developmental Disabilities offering a structured, goaloriented, active treatment program of medically orientated, therapeuticand habilitation services to raise levels of functioning. This positionrequires the skills and experience to lead a diverse team, ensureprogram documentation and file requirements are complete and meetfunding source requirements by utilizing Credible, other EHR, VirtualGateway, etc. Qualifications: Master\'s degree in social work,psychology or related field preferred, OR Bachelor\'s degree in relatedfield with five years related experience required. 10 years\' experienceoverseeing program operations, budgets, and supervising staff may besubstituted for a degree. Knowledge of and respect for diversepopulations. Requirements: Demonstrated proficiency in financialmanagement, use of Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and internet.Organizational skills, creative abilities, and excellent written andoral communication are a must. Exercises sound judgment in problemsolving, prioritization and multitasking. Ability to work independentlyin a team environment and be flexible to meet program needs. Developmentof strong relationships with all key stakeholders (members, memberfamilies, peers, subordinates, superiors, funding sources, employers,communities, etc.) Program documentation (reviewing and approvingprogress notes, billing, contract amendments, ISP\'s, etc.) A broadrange of interpersonal skills to work with program participants,community employers, funding sources, and other professionals. Validdriver\'s license, 3 years driving experience, good driving record, useof vehicle, and willingness to transport participants in personal and/oragency vehicle. Must be able to travel within the region to accessresidential settings, employers, and community organizations.
