Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or PA opportunity in Brookfield, CT
Danbury Hospital, affiliated with Nuvance Health Medical Group is seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant for our Brookfield Primary Care Practice office, located in suburban Fairfield County, Connecticut, about 90 minutes outside of New York City. Our Brookfield practice is long established and highly regarded,having provided high-quality healthcare to our community for over thirty-five years, including the local police and fire departments, the Brookfield school system, and the local YMCA.
Our staff includes 7 providers (Physicians and Advance Practice Provider colleagues) and excellent support staff.The office is a completely new facility with spacious exam rooms and dedicated office space for our physicians and advanced practitioners.We utilize a state-of-the-art Electronic Health Record that is fully integrated across all our hospitals and ambulatory sites.We were one of the first practices in our area to be awarded a Level 3 certification for PCMH, and our practice is committed to undergraduate medical education with many of our clinicians precepting medical students from the University of Vermont.
Job Responsibilities:
The APRN or PA provides medical care for patients in collaboration with a physician, assisting patients to recover from acute illnesses while minimizing the effects of chronic illnesses.
Job Requirements:
This position requires a minimum formal education and graduate of an approved PA Program ormaster’s degree, NP, State of CT RN and APRN license, CT Controlled Substances and Federal DEA Registration andCurrent Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner.
Previous experienceas an APRN or PA in Primary Care preferred but new grads with Primary Care experience are welcome to apply. FNP with pediatric experience or interest preferred.

Salary range:
$105- $150k commensurate or relative to experience.
