For more than two decades, EBP has been at the forefront of assessing the impact of transportation on people and businesses thinking beyond traditional measures like roadway performance to capture the human element of how transportation systems provide access to jobs, commerce, and daily activities. Founded in 1996 in Boston as Economic Development Research Group (EDR Group), we changed our name to EBP in 2020 to reflect our membership in the EBP Global family of firms. We initially built a practice based on economic evaluation of projects, programs and investments around North America. We subsequently expanded to address broader policy and planning issues, and a wider base of clients in Africa, Asia, Europe and South America. This broader focus created a perfect opportunity for us to join EBP and further enhance our capabilities for interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation. EBP has earned a national and international reputation for leadership and insight regarding economic development and its relationship to public and private investments, programs and policies. Our work has consistency centered on improving the state of the art in objective analysis to help empower public and private clients to better plan and implement actions that are efficient, sustainable and serve to grow jobs, increase incomes, reduce disparities and enhance quality of life. We work collaboratively to prepare clients for the future, dealing with uncertainty, changing technology, climate risk, and strategic and technical challenges. Our cutting-edge methods support better decisions about investing limited infrastructure dollars, and we work hard to make insights from our work accessible and applicable for a variety of audiences including policymakers, technical experts, and the public. Committed to applying principles of sustainability, resiliency, and state-of-the-art economic analysis, we seek to be the employer of choice for like-minded professionals. Our team is expanding in the United States to support strong growth as we serve our clients on these exciting topics. We strive to support one another in work and in life. Strong values, flexibility, and exceptional quality work are just a few of the characteristics we hold in high regard. We take time to connect through shared activities like Lunch and Learns, Wellness Wednesdays, Friday morning coffee hours, and retreats. Teamwork and collaboration are important components of our ability to deliver high quality work to clients and candidates. Our team is headquartered in Boston, just a few minutes walk from three T subway lines, Bostons South Station (commuter rail and Amtrak), and Bostons vibrant downtown, Chinatown, Seaport, and Public Garden areas. Our building includes bike parking and health club facilities. Our office is a creative space filled with talented people.
