**Contract: 3-12 months**
**Night Shift:** 11:15 PM to 7:15 AM Sun-Thursday rotating weekends and holidays.
**Day shift:** 11 AM - 3:30 PM rotating weekends
**Pay: 25-35 (Depending on experience)**
**Job Description:**
+ Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
+ Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
+ Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
+ Make technical decisions regarding testing and troubleshoot problems as needed.
+ Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls.
+ Report accurate and timely test results to support quality patient care.
+ Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
+ Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary.
+ Assist with specimen processing when required.
+ Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or equivalent as per local regulatory CLIA/State requirements.
+ 0-2 years of clinical laboratory testing experience.
+ State Medical Technologist license as required (specified in job requirements).
+ ASCP or AMT certification preferred or required as per job specifications.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
+ Proficient computer skills; familiarity with laboratory information systems is advantageous.
+ Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and organizational abilities.
+ Must pass a standardized color vision screen.
