AI & Data practitioners work with our clients to:

+ Design and modernize large scale data and analytics programs that promote organizational intelligence, provide embedded capacity, and implement as-a-service based subscription models at scale

+ Enable day-to-day operations, maintenance and ongoing enhancements of their data platforms and applications as well as managing and governing the underlying data leveraging standardized, automated and AI enabled Data Ops capabilities

+ Mature their AI and Analytics journey with fluid capacity and flexible capability of AI and Analytics experts complemented with experience hardened assets and curated data sets to experiment with AI and scale their AI and Analytics ambitions

Work You'll Do

Collaborating amongst team members across several geographies, as a Data Engineer you will design and implement data ingestion, integration & curation pipelines and ecosystems for the enablement and modernization of data warehouses, lakes and meshes leveraging packaged or custom technologies. Use your Insurance industry experience to design and develop industry focused assets.

As a Senior Consultant in our AI & Data Team, you will bring strong technical, functional and project management solutions to clients with a focus on achieving a high level of performance and quality through delivery of both agile and traditional projects to provide exceptional business value to users.

Working within an engagement team, your responsibilities include, among others:

+ Managing day-to-day interactions with executive clients, stakeholders, and sponsors

+ Managing and delivering components of client engagements focused on identifying, designing, and implementing both technology and creative business solutions for large companies

+ Managing small teams to identify business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures. Your background in technology will provide the foundation to manage these streams but also understand the technology

+ Creation and development of project scope and schedule. Plan and assign resources to associated tasks and deliverables

+ Monitoring progress of the project, identify, and quantify variances, perform required corrective actions

+ Managing changes to project scope, project schedule, and project costs to keep the project plan accurate, updated, as defined in the change management plan

+ Identifying high-level risks, assumptions, and constraints. Implement approved actions and workarounds to minimize the impact of risks on the project

+ Developing and maintaining communication with key project stakeholders and decision makers

Qualifications

Required:

+ 3+ years of relevant techno-functional analytics consulting experience providing data-driven solutions, leveraging Analytics and Business Intelligence for information dissemination

+ 2+ years Insurance industry client data analytics project delivery experience

+ 3+ years experience with SQL

+ 3+ years of hands-on experience with data core modernization and data ingestion

+ 1+ years experience leading workstreams within complex technology engagements with resources in multiple locations

+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience

+ Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

+ Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

+ Experience with Cloud using Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

+ Understanding of emerging technologies (such as GenAI) and advanced data architectures (ie: Multimodal data management & model design, Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Data Products, etc.)

+ Understanding of the benefits of data warehousing, data architecture, data quality processes, data warehousing design and implementation, table structure, fact and dimension tables, logical and physical database design, data modeling, reporting process metadata, and ETL processes.

+ Experience designing and implementing reporting and visualization for unstructured and structured data sets

+ Experience designing and developing data cleansing routines utilizing typical data quality functions involving standardization, transformation, rationalization, linking and matching

+ Knowledge of data, master data and metadata related standards, processes and technology

+ Experience working with multi-Terabyte data sets

+ Experience with real-time data movement solutions that use security and encryption protocols while data is in transit

+ Experience collaborating among team members across several geographies

+ An advanced degree in the area of specialization

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $119,025 - $198,375.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
