Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you'll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll Do:Sort and place materials and items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product codeRead customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shippedOperate a forklift to move material and supplies as requiredPerform a wide range of physical activities which include pulling, pushing, reaching, bending over, climbing, and kneelingAssist in unloading and loading customersAssist in filling work/shipping ordersAssemble customer orders from stock and place orders in appropriate shipping/holding areaAssist in performing inventory on materialAdhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines. Maintain work area and location organized and clean for orderliness at all timesOther duties as assigned in general support of the organizationWhat You'll Need:1+ year(s) forklift / loader experienceMinimum 1 year experience in construction and or manufacturing environmentAbility to operate a forkliftAbility to work in uncontrolled climate environment and in the elementsAbility to communicate with customers, employees, and business leadersGreat organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-taskAble to operate hand toolsMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsMust be able to stand for long periods of timeHigh School Diploma or GED preferredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
