Job Summary The Test Engineer is responsible for developing ATE testing solution for new product evaluation, qualification, and production manufacturing. Responsibilities Develop test hardware and program for protection and power management integrated ICs for prototype evaluation, characterization, and production testing
Support new product evaluation and engineering evaluations / investigations
Define and specify test plans and related documents for new product production release
Provide technical support and training on test setup to Manufacturing team
Collaborate with different function groups to provide testing support for different projects
Investigate testing related issues with detailed analysis and publish summary report
Perform correlation and repeatability to set proper production test limits
Manage vendors to ensure expected outcomes in terms of schedule and resolutions.
Minimum Qualifications B.S. Electrical Engineering or M.S. Electrical Engineering
Preferably a minimum of 3 years of experience in development of ATE test solutions for analogue and mixed-signal IC‘s manufacturing testing environment
Basic understanding of electrical circuits and Analog / Digital IC testing methodologies (incorporated with high volume production techniques and requirements preferred)
Strong interest in learning to design test hardware (with working experience preferred)
Familiar with programming language such as C/C++/VBA
Some understanding of working theory of semiconductor devices
Excellent analytical and trouble shooting skills with the ability to proactively solve issues
Able to perform basic statistical analysis using software such as Excel
Some experience working with different lab instruments and ATE testers (preferred)
Quick learner of new technical skills including new instruments and software
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Team player with a strong sense of urgency to meet product requirements on schedule
Experience in working with international and cross-functional teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products - Excel, Word, Visio, Power Point, Project
