We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing hybrid active directory structures, implementing security tools for email, Cisco switches, Meraki access points, Palo Alto firewalls, and experience with Office 365 administration. The System Administrator will be responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. They will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure and ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational initiatives and policies. This position is 100% onsite.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and implement a hybrid Microsoft Active Directory structure.
Maintain Office 365, Cisco switches, Palo Alto firewalls, Meraki Access Points, and other network devices.
Manage security and access controls for various software applications including ERP, WMS, and other enterprise software.
Perform EDI troubleshooting and resolution.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
Perform regular network backups and disaster recovery tests.
Experience with implementing and managing data backup solutions and disaster recovery plans
Manage network security and access control.
Install and configure network hardware and software.
Maintain documentation of network topology and configurations.
Provide first and second-level helpdesk support and resolve problems.
Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems on all Windows/Linux/Unix servers, including web, domain controllers, DNS, Mail, and other servers.
Perform and coordinate effective installation and performance of advanced operating system hardware and software on servers.
Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, and resolve software-related problems.
Plan and perform appropriate procedures, documentation, inventory assessment, and other procedures related to IT infrastructure.
Maintain, monitor, analyze system components, and make recommendations regarding computer system security, monitor network, computer, and disk utilization.
Inventory and provide accounting for software, server, workstation, and laptop systems.
Conduct software and hardware evaluations, provide technical analysis, and implement systems to meet the company's IT goals.
Work with a team to automate management tasks, streamline processes, and perform standard administration functions as needed.
Perform IT Security responsibilities:
Maintain Systems' security and compliance through patch management, proper access rights, and endpoint security.
Educate and enforce password complexity and change requirements and other Active Directory Security Policies.
Maintain a secure network by not exposing systems (Servers, VPN appliances, and others) to external intranet without proper security and approvals.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
5+ years' experience as a Systems Administrator
Security certification preferable (CompTIA Security+, others)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory including design and migration
Experience writing complex PowerShell scripts.
Experience with Meraki Access Points preferred.
Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, preferred.
Experience with Office 365 administration
Experience with SQL Server setup and security required.
Experience managing ERP, WMS, and other enterprise systems access, backups, and general administration.
Experience with HyperV preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Azure Paas, SaaS, and IaaS, preferred.
Experience in a warehouse or shipping environment, preferred.
Experience with NIST, CIS, or other security frameworks.
Knowledge of network security protocols and tools.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills required.
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
